Show HURRICANE Mrs. Vemet Ilinton Reporter Mrs. Thomas Stanworth and Mrs. Ora Williams left Wednesday for Salt Lake City, where they will visit over the week with their daughters. Miss LaDean Dover of Ogden spent last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Adams. Mrs. Tim Hoyt- and Mrs. Clifford Clif-ford Spendlove entertained a group of friends at the Hoyt residence resi-dence Friday evening. Games were followed by refresments. Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Jepson and children spent Thursday and Friday in Kanab visiting and on business. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Nuttall and family spent Sunday in Overton. Over-ton. While handling a wild horse last Monday, Fenton Whitney was caught in the rope tied to the horse's neck, and tripped, breaking break-ing his leg just above the knee. He is being cared for in the Iron county hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Heaton and family and Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Heywood and family left Tuesday for Salt Lake City, where they will spend the week on business and visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Clave D. Walker and son, Marlin returned last week from San Diego, where they visited another son, Eldon, who is stationed there. Miss Elaine Sandberg entertained enter-tained her club Wednesday evening eve-ning at her home. Ernest Cripps and two sons arrived ar-rived Saturday from Santa Monica to visit his mother, Mrs. Addie Cripps. Mrs. Thomas Isom spent last week in Salt Lake City visiting her son, George. She returned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gardner, Mrs. Lillian Roundy, Mrs. Loren Covington and Mrs. Vernet Hinton were business Visitors in Cedar City Tuesday. |
