Show TOQUERYILLE Sirs. Eowena W. Slack Mrs. Lois Iverson Reporters II. M. Wallace Sr., had a surprise visit Sunday from his grandsons, Miles Wallace and Cpl. Keith C. Wallace and wife. Miles was recently re-cently released from military service and is enrolled at the B. Y. U. Cpl. Wallace is home from Fort Sill, Okla., on furlough. Their grandfather is now 85 years old, but is in good health and reads without glasses. Visitors at our Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barton of St. George, who gave the program for the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cameron and sons, Clair of Basic, Nev., and Slc Elwyn Cameron of Great Lakes Naval training station were guests last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Jackson. Miss Laurel Jackson left Wednesday Wed-nesday for Salt Lake City where she will remain indefinitely. F. B. Jackson of Washington is visiting in Toquerville this week. Mrs. Nita Stapley left last Thursday for Texas where she will join her husband, Pvt. Wood-row Wood-row Stapley, who is stationed at Camp Fannin. She plans to ra-main. ra-main. Miss Dee Beatty underwent an appendectomy at the Iron county hospital last Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Maxwell and Mr. and Mrs. Levi Olds of Cedar City were Sunday visitors in Toquerville. Miss Vera Dodge has gone to Las Vegas after spending several weeks here with relatives. |
