Show DROUTH REDUCES FISHING SEASON On account of the drouth conditions general over the state of Utah the past summer and the low level of lakes and streams, it has been decided by the state fish and game commission to close the fishing season at 9 p. m. October S. The closing date is advanced this year because, it is pointed out by the commissioner, many of the small streams are without with-out fish, the hatcheries are full, and the fish must be planted. It was thought that a few days' fishing sacrificed this fall will make better angling next season. |
