Show AUXILIARY HEARS SHRUB, LAWN TALKS A meeting of the auxiliary of the chamber of commerce was held last Friday in the Science building of the Dixie College. The following program was given: giv-en: Vocal solo, Cleo Higgins. Talk, "Better Lawns in Dixie," Karl E. Fordham. Duet, Maggie Brooks and Una Pickett. Talk, George Brooks, "Suitable "Suit-able Shrubs for Dixie." Solo, Rhoda Andrus. The bulbs ordered by the auxiliary ladies during the summer sum-mer have arrived in Cedar City, and will be delivered in St. George soon. Over 2500 bulbs were sold to St. George residents, resi-dents, and a few extra ones were sent in case orders came in late. These may be secured from Mrs. W. W. Cannon, president of the organization. |
