Show BIG FEATURES AT ELECTRIC A newspaper picture, full of thrills and gangster battles, "Hell Bent for 'Frisco", will be presented at the Electric theater the-ater tonight sponsored by the local Boy Scout troops. A Scout short subject also will be shown, j Friday and Saturday, Charles Rogers will be shown in "Along Came Youth". Mistaken for a millionaire, he's without a dollar dol-lar in the world, but with a reputation rep-utation to live up to and a girl at stake. "A Free Soul," with Norma Shearer, Leslie Howard, Lionel Barrymore and Clark Gable, will be shown Sunday and Monday. Grim drama of the underworld, spectacular homes of the rich, secret gambling halls in a great city, are the settings of this drama in which Miss Shearer is shown in what is without doubt the most gripping dramatic characterization of her career. A side-splitting farce comedy, "Only Saps Work" with Leon Errol, Richard Arlen, Mary Brian Bri-an and Stuart Erwin, will be seen Tuesday and Wednesday. |
