He was winner of a Dixie College Col-lege scholarship last year. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Tobler left Friday for Provo where they will spend the winter. Mr. Tobler will attend the B. Y. U. this term. William Sylvester and Theodore Theo-dore Christensen of Elsinore spent Friday afternoon and Saturday Sat-urday visiting at the "home of Mrs. Alice Miles. Mrs. Frank Wilson and baby left Thursday evening for Oakland Oak-land where they will visit with Mrs. Wilson's sister, Mrs. G. W. Duncan. Miss Edith Harris of the Dixie Beauty Shop left Sunday for Salt Lake City where she will attend a school of beauty culture for a month. Grant Baker of Provo spent a short time here Saturday with his mother, Mrs. F. E. Baker. He was en route to Los Angeles where he will spend a few days on business. Mr. and Mrs. George H. Lytle returned Thursday from Moccasin, Mocca-sin, Arizona, where they spent a short time with their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Mildred Heaton. Mrs. E. B. Snow left Monday evening for Los Angeles on a buying trip. She will be met in that city by her daughter, Miss Hortense, who is filling a mission mis-sion in California. . Mr. and Mrs. Ed Erickson and two daughters of Canby, Minn., arrived here Saturday and will visit relatives for several days. They left Monday for a tour of the " parks, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Erickson. Antone Kemp of Provo and Mrs. Samuel Bringhurst and small son of Murray, spent the week end in St. George visiting relatives. They returned Monday accompanied by their mother, Mrs. Adeline Kemp, who will spend the winter in Provo. Myril Prisbrey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Prisbrey ot Washington had his left arm broken in two places when he fell from a horse at his home Sunday afternoon. The limb was set by Dr. W. J. Reichmann. Misses Linda Larson and Emily Harmon and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Cannon entertained the Woodward school faculty at a chicken supper on the Sugar Loaf Saturday night. From there the crowd went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hafen where rook was played. First prize was won by Mrs. Caddie Neilson and the consolation went to Mrs. Jessie Frei. W. A.
