W. Plum-mer Plum-mer of Hollywood and Robert Speed of Santa Ana, photographers. photograph-ers. They were taken through Diamond Dia-mond valley and the canyon by-John by-John Stewart who has guided seventeen parties through that section during the past several years. In all over one hundred still shots were taken in the canyon, together with several moving pictures. pic-tures. The photographers were amazed at the coloring and beauty beau-ty of the canyon. At the white point below the volcanoes, they tested for sound qualities and found it to be perfect, and it is probable that as a result of this trip companies will come in to make motion pictures in the region. Mr. Plummer and Mr. Speed plan on returning at a later date and spending more time in order to get details, as they found it impossible to fully appreciate ap-preciate the attractions of the region in one day's trip. The two photographers have been all over this part of the country. They were sent out of Hollywood, traveled over Arizona, taking in the Grand canyon, then Zion park, Cedar Breaks and Bryce, and will return to California Cali-fornia via Enterprise and Mo-dena, Mo-dena, stopping at Cathedral Gorge in Nevada, Lehman cave and Lake Tahoe. While in St. George shots were taken of the temple, the tabernacle and school buildings and other points of interest. |
