Show I BUNKERVILLE i JJUXKERVILLE, Sept. 15. The opening social of the M. I. A. was held here last Friday '. night. Music was furnished by the Dixie College orchestra, and a large crowd attended. Officers Offi-cers for the year are: Eldon Leavitt, Kendel Bunker, Maroni Waite, Mrs. Rose Abbott, Mrs. Iola Hunt and Miss Wanda Bunker. Bun-ker. Misses Verna Leavitt, Reva Bunker and Aileen and Mildred Tobler left Sunday for St. George where they will attend Dixie College. Delmond Abbott and Miss Prisbrey of St. George were married Wednesday, Sept. 16, in the St. George temple. They will make their home here. School started here Tuesday, September 8. The faculty members mem-bers are: Mr. Fish, principal; Mr. Farr, music; Mr. Huntsman, art; Mr. Tobler, agriculture; Mr. Blake, athletics; Miss Ollinger, home economics, and Mr. Beam-son, Beam-son, science. Mrs. Vernon C. Rowley of Blanding, Utah, is- here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Leavitt. Mrs. Mary H. Leavitt returned with her from St. George where she has been with her daughter, Mrs. Leonard Reber. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Reber will make their home in St. George this winter where Mr. Reber will attend Dixie College. Mrs. Mabel Waite has returned from a trip to Central with her brother, Dan Leavitt. |
