Show INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN FOR MOUNTAIN HIKE Party Will Leave St. George Friday Fri-day Afternoon and Return Saturday Evening. Patrons of the Dixie College, students and faculty members anticipating joining in the Pine Valley mountain annual hike will leave St. George Friday afternoon af-ternoon in time to have camp made by about 6:30 or 7 o'clock. At 7:30 the following campfire program will be given: Community singing, directed by B. Glen Smith. Stunt, directed by Frank Miles and Reva Andrus. Vocal trio, Preston Larson, Mart Iverson and Antone Nis-son. Nis-son. Stunt, directed by Myles .Tudd. Music, under direction of E. J. Bleak. Indian dance, Francis Seeg-miller. Seeg-miller. Legend of Pine Valley, H. L. Reid. Taps will be sounded at 10 o'clock. Reveille will be blown at 6 a. m. Saturday and breakfast will be over by 7 o'clock. The parties will be on the trail by 7:15 a. m., and will return and break camp by 5 p. m. Groups will be organized in parties of ten or less and all will be properly chaperoned. It is suggested that the following fol-lowing equipment be taken: Food for supper, breakfast, hike lunch, and possibly a meal before be-fore , leaving Pine Valley. Take plenty of blankets and wraps and your own cooking utensils. Canteens may be necessary for at least half of the trail. Fire wood will be furnished. Firearms Fire-arms are prohibited. |
