Show WASHINGTON yASinXGTON", Sept. 29. A . ward party was given here Sautrday evening in honor of the retiring bishopric. They were each presented with a token of appreciation by the new bishopric. bish-opric. A splendid program was given, refreshments served, and the rest of the evening spent in dancing. Mrs. Dora Iverson of Delta is here to spend the winter with relatives. A shower was given at the home of Mir. and Mrs. Ed Nisson Thursday evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Nisson. Miss Ellen Hanks spent the week end as the guest of Miss Nina Nisson. They are both teaching school at Hurricane. Mrs. Lula Whitney of Spring-ville Spring-ville is here visiting relatives. Mrs. Israel Neilson entertained entertain-ed at a luncheon Friday afternoon. after-noon. Covers were laid for ten guests. Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Andrus and family of Cedar City were visiting relatives here Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Willard Sorensou of St. George spent Friday here visiting. |
