Dunkel, 22, of Larkin, Kan., failed to halt when ord-I ord-I ered to, and Robinson fired to frighten the pair, j According to the testimony of j Coatney, who lived two hours j after being shot, he and Dun- kel and two girls were en route to Phoenix, and had run low on gasoline. They attempted to siphon si-phon some from the Robinson car. After the shooting Dunkel and the two women continued on, and were captured at Cedar City. Coatney, in a dying statement, asked that no complaint he filed fil-ed against Robinson. His body was shipped to his parents in Colorado. |
