Show SPRINGDALE gPRIXGDALE, Sept. 27. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Russell have returned from the Grand canyon where they spent the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Allred are in Mt. Carmel on business. An old folks' party was held in the ward chapel last week for all the aged people in the Zion Park stake. Word has been recevied of the birth of a son to Mr. and Mrs. William Jones. The child died shortly after birth. Mr. and Mrs. O. D. Gifford, Mr. and Mrs. S. K. Gifford, and Miss Lola Christensen left Monday Mon-day for Salt Lake City. The latter lat-ter will spend the winter there attending school. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Hall have returned from the northern part of the state. Mrs. Er Clark Mclntire spent Sunday visiting at the home of Mrs. Nora Jolley. Mrs. D. F. Hamblin visited at the home of Mrs. Arnold Ruesch Saturday. Lyman Green spent Saturday visiting his sister, Mrs. Leland Russell. Dilworth Ruesch spent the week end visiting in Hurricane with Quinn Englested. Our sacrament meeting was conducted by the elders' quorum Sunday. Miss Beth Reed has returned to her home in Ogden. She was accompanied by Mrs. LeRoy Davis Da-vis and Roland Manning. Farmers are harvesting their fall crops and preparing for the winter. |
