Show s s f ' i Wallace Caldwell Wallace Caldwell dies at 80 Wallace Caldwell, 80, of Vernal died at the Ashley Valley Medical Center June 20, 1983. Born Nov. 13, 1902 in Paradise, Utah, Cache County, he was the son of Xoah Ellis and Ida Louisea Bradley Caldwell. He married Nancy Mar Colton, Oct. 6, 1925 in Vernal, and their marriage was later solemized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Aug. 7, 1980. He was a farmer, timberman, member of the LDS Church, high priest, avid horseman and gardener. Survived by two sons and three daughters, Mrs. Lynn (Betty) Mecham of Vernal, Mrs. Don ( Barta ) Shaffer of Logan, Larry W. Caldwell of Las Vegas, New, Lowell C. Caldwell of Duchesne and Mrs. Keith (Eloise) Adams of Roosevelt; 16 grandchildren, grand-children, 32 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Mrs. Fern Burgess of Roosevelt, Mrs. Louise Caldwell and Kedric Caldwell of Vernal. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 23. at 11 a.m. at the Maeser-Ashley Maeser-Ashley Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Thomson's Vernal Mortuary 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery. |
