Sherry Smuin and Nicky Fisher were walked and Smuin scored on a wild pitch to increase Graco's lead to six runs at 8 to 2. Powell grounded out to end the inning. Lapoint scored one run in the bottom of the second inning to cut the Graco lead to five runs at 8-3. An error placed plac-ed Lisa Hatch on second base and a steal moved her to third base. Jeanette Huber was walked with one out and scored on a ground ball by Cassy Harrison. Har-rison. Christy McLean was walked, but was stranded as Wood caught Crystal Johnson's fly ball. Wood led off with a single in the top of the third inning for the Graco team and stole second and third base. Staley was walked, but Haslem committed the first out and Smuin flied out and Wood was doubled off third base.
