Show Dinosaur recreation program in full swing The newly established Dinosaur, Colo., Recreation Program is now in full swing and ready to serve the recreational needs of the community. Last week assistant athletic directors direc-tors Allison Mock and Rick Long joined join-ed Director Ken Silverberg in Boulder for a week long training program. Miss Mock said they became certified in first aid, learned leadership, communication, com-munication, and planning skills, ns well as new games they could use in setting up the recreation program. Silverberg is in hopes the program they set up this summer will be able to perpetuate itself in coming years, when he is no longer with the program. Silverberg is a student at Arizona State University, and he is in Dinosaur on an internship which is being taught through the University of Colorado in Boulder. He will receive transfer credit for the internship toward a degree he is working toward at Arizona State. Miss Mock and Long have been hired to help coordinate the programs being set up. They include classes in cooking, painting, sewing, aerobics and hunter safety. There will he a free swim day in Kangcly for children on Tuesdays. Also being offered are backpacking, day hikes, volleyball, baseball and basketball. On Mondays and r'ridays there are games held in the park for children.
