Show ' . - x f M J ) V j t ' ; V n) ' - r Mr. and Mrs. Casev Brooks Mr. and Mrs. Casey Brooks excliange marriage voivs Sharrell Workman, daughter of Venus Lambert and the late Ken Workman, became the bride of Casey James Brooks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Street, in a double ring ceremony May 28 at the Davis Ward Chapel. The ceremony was performed perform-ed by Bishop Neldon Slaugh. A reception was held in honor of the newlyweds in the Davis Ward Chapel. The bride's wedding dress had a high collar of lace trimmed with pearls and sequins. The long sleeves were capped with lace. V-shaped ruffles of lace were on both sides. The long chapel length train was ruffled lace. In front of the gown was an apron type affect made of pearls and sequins. The cap net veil was made with matching mat-ching lace and accented with pearls and sequins. The bride carried a spring bouquet. Sharrell's twin brother escorted her down the aisle. Standing in as matron of honor was Marcia Jackson with Tamie Briese and Shaunda Cuch as bridesmaids. Flower girls were Tiffani Dawn Gurr and Letha Martinsen. Jeremy Foley was the ring bearer. The attendants wore floor length yellow gowns with yellow baby roses and small green leaves. Each carried a long stemmed white rose. The mothers' gowns were white with green leaves. Standing in as best man was Jarrell Workman with Shad Jackson and Troy Street as ushers. Sherry Richens attended the guest book. Gift bearers were Brady and Cody Wilson. Helping with serving were Angel Jackson, Anna Jackson, Letha Mortinson and Kimberly Cook. The kitchen was taken care of by Alisia Mecham. Teresa Foley, JoLayne Fullenwider. After the bride and attendants stood in line, Olin Henderson and Madge Briese sang, being accompanied by Deon Price. The song they sang was composed specifically for the bride and groom by Olin Henderson. After the ceremony as they marched out, Blaine Pierce sang "More." The four-tiered wedding cake was decorated with yellow and green roses with white orchids and pearls. It was topped with a bride and groom figurine. The cake was made by Olin Henderson. A personal and pound shower was given by JoLayne Fullenwider and Jaya Jackson. After a wedding trip to Bottle Hollow, the couple are making their home in Vernal. |
