Show I Tridcil I Lorna (TIcKee I Phon 247350l Elder Haslem receives call Elder Donald Haslem received a mission mis-sion call Friday to the California San Bernadino mission. He will enter the Mission Training Center June 9. His brother, Elder Clair Haslem, will return from the Washington Seattle mission May 20. Janet Merkley is vice president of West Junior High PTA. Rhea Allred is president with Arlene Funk, secretary for the coming year. Mr. and Mrs. Errol Merkley went to Logan Saturday to attend a reunion for a singing group that Mr. Merkley had the privilege of singing with during his college col-lege days. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Goodrich took their son, Cory, to Salt Lake City Friday to participate in the state spelling bee. Cory was the winner of the Uintah School District, making him eligible to go to state. Mr. and Mrs. Rae Goodrich went to Salt Lake City Wednesday to see their grandson, Elder Verl Stringham, off on his mission to Seattle, Washington. Tina and Virginia Goodrich and Teresa Page made a trip to Salt Lake City Saturday. Jay, Dennis and Orson Harvey and their wives from the Wasatch front spent Sunday visiting with their father, James Harvey, who is ill. Also visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Roland Larsen of Kearns, also a daughter of Mr. Harvey. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Goodrich spent Friday night with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kitchen. Mr. and Mrs. Lennis McKee went to Colorado Saturday for a trailer. Tridell residents awakened Tuesday morning to be greeted by a six inch snowstorm. |
