Show Governor's aide to speak at Chamber meeting Governor Scott M. Matheson's office has notified the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce that the governor will not be allowed to travel until after June 1 because of a recent mild heart attack. The governor was scheduled to speak at the annual Chamber meeting May 2. Representing the governor at the Chamber meeting will be Dale Carpenter, director of community affairs and civic betterment of the state. Uintah County has postponed the road and bridge dedication to Bonanza and the White River Shale Project to a date in June when Governor Matheson can attend. The annual Chamber meeting will be held at the Sheraton Inn May 2, starting at 7:30 p.m. The business part of the meeting will include electing five directors direc-tors to fill the terms of those expiring. The annual report will be given by Dwight L. Wetenkamp, executive vice president. Special musical numbers will be presented by Victor and Denice Angelo.
