Show y , i t X - ' Victor All red Naples service for Victor Allred John Victor Allred, 82, of Vernal, died at the Ashley Valley Medical Center April 15, 1983. Born Nov. 24, 1900 in Vernal to John Warren and Zina Jensen Allred. Married Sarah Alice Kay Sept. 13, 1925 in Vernal. She died May 14, 1959. He was a farmer, rancher and auto mechanic. He worked at the Dinosaur National Monument and did field work or Dinosaur National Monument for Dr. Earl Douglas. He was a High Priest in the Naples 1st Ward. Survived by his son, Jack B. Allred of Vernal; three grandsons and four greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, ReNee Allred. Funeral services were Monday, April 18 in the Naples 1st Ward Chapel. Charles Olsen gave the family prayer. The service was conducted by Bishop Lawrence Kay. Arnold Baker gave the opening prayer. Daun White and Dorothy Luck sang "How Great Thou Art," accompanied ac-companied by Melba Eaton. After remarks by Bishop Kay, Glade Sowards sang "Beautiful Land." J. Ross Merrell spoke. Verdon Goodrich, Norman Haslem, Mac Holmes and Phillip Man-waring Man-waring sang, "May the Good Lord Bless andKeep You." Ralph Southam gave the benediction. Donnell C. Dow dedicated the grave. Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Don Allred, John ! Hired, Rand Allred, John (Butch) Kay, Boyd York and Grant York.' Honorary pallbearers were the High Priest (juorum. |
