Show SCS snow survey made for February Snow survey information from the ' Soil Conservation Service for February V i show irrigation water supply to be well below average. Soil moisture is also below average for this time of year. On the Whiterocks River and Dry Fork drainage at Mosby Mountain there is 21 inches of snow with 3.8 inches in-ches of water; this is 52 percent of average. The raingauge has caught 5.83 inches of water since Oct. 1; this is 66 percent of average. At Paradise Park there is 27 inches of snow with 6.3 inches of water; this is 76 percent of average. The raingauge catch from Oct. 1 is 92 percent of average. On Brush Creek drainage at Kings Cabin Upper there is 22 inches of snow with 4.7 inches of water; this is 71 percent of average. On the north slope of the Uintas at Spirit Lake there is 36 inches of snow with 7.8 inches of water; this is 111 percent of average. The raingauge catch from Oct. 1 is 126 percent of average. , At Hickerson Park there is 17 inches of snow with 4.1 inches of water; this is 85 percent of average. Snow cover is 69 percent on Uinta Whiterocks drainage and 63 percent of average on Ashley Creek watershed. Reservoir storage at Steinaker is 124 percent of average. |
