Show J. Ferron Hacking family reunion While the Dennis , Hacking family were in 1 Maeser the J. Ferron I Hacking family held a family reunion at the Hacking home July 16. Attending were the Dean and Laura Chew family from their summer home in Clark, Colorado; Nick ' and Sarah Weisgerber family from Naples; Joe and Linda Hacking family and the Vaughn and Margie Mott family of Maeser. John and Dana Dee Smith, Jim and Donna Drollinger have returned from a two week trip to Alaska. They visited in Anchorage, where they did a lot of sight seeing of the Alaskan Railway to the gold field, the Yukon Trail and the route of the gold stampeders. Lyle Glines family held their family reunion at Fish Park last week. Their children are Charles Ray Glines, Oakland, CA.; Veral and Judy, Salt Lake City; Clayton and Shirley Robinson, Craig and Margaret Killpack, Magna. They were joined by Lowell and Billy Glines, Orem, and Lowells children, Ann, Mike, Loren, Jeff, Salt Lake City. They enjoyed five days together. An accident occurred during the outing. Lowell's son got a fish hook in his eye. He was rushed to a Salt Lake City hospital where it was surgically removed. He will undergo surgery again in six months. Mr. and Mrs. Corben Bennion from Salt Lake City are visiting at the home of their parents, the Bart Bennions. The Larry Peterson family, Jensen, the Burnell Slaugh family and the Dal Cook family, Davis Ward; Ronald Batty family, Ivan Battys. Ashley ward were some of the many who were on hand to hear Dale Thomas report ' his London England Mission to the Maeser Second Ward. Michael and Barbara Watkins from Weatherford, Texas, south of Fort Worth, spent a week at the Doug and Carol Hatch home. They spent two days at the Massey Ranch in Dry Fork, visited Flaming Gorge, went on a river trip from the dam to Little Hole. They also traveled to Prove where Boyd and Enid Hatch accompanied them through the Provo LDS Temple on Friday. Mary Ellen Hatch from Orem spent the weekend at the home of her parents, the Boyd Hatch's. Frances and Carol Palmer and family were in Salt Lake City Friday and Saturday. Douglas Miles family visited his grandparents on their way to a new assignment in Seattle, Washington. Douglas works in communications. com-munications. His last assignment was on the White House Staff where he worked with the Ford and Carter news people. Gail Davis and children from Pleasant Hill, CA. visited with her parents L.A. and Inez Timothy, also Elva McCamey and son, Billy. Howard and Florence Williams held a barbecue for the Hacking family, while the Dennis Hacking family, and the Kenneth Williams family were visiting in Maeser. Kenneth and DeeAnn Willi am s , their children Craig, CoDete, and Allen Williams from Germantown, Tenn. visited their parents, the Howard Williams. Their children stayed for a week. Then Kenneth and Dee,Ann went to Tahiti on a vacation. He works for the Datsun Company. Howard and Florence Williams took their grandchildren to Salt Lake City to visit their other grandparents the Clyde Millers. While there, the Williams at tended a wedding reception for Clyde Calder Jr. in Mapleton, Utah. Jered and Sage Garcia visited at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wavne Bullock for a week while their mother, Mrs. James (Vickie) Garcia was hospitalized at St. Marks in Salt Lake City. CORRECTION: It was erroneously reported last week that Gary McClellen, wife and children were new residents in Maeser. The article should have read: Gary McClellen and wife, Lmda, are making their home in Maeser. And Mrs. Bob (Nancy) Mc-Clellan Mc-Clellan and children visited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Abegglen for a month. |
