Guests attended ,rom Salt Lake City, Bountiful, Magna, dandy, American Fork, Neola and lock Springs. q Parents of the couple are Mr. and Irs. Dan Richens and Mr. and Mrs. jjlteve George. All are of Vernal. A reception, at the home" of the ride's parents, was held following the eremony. The bride wore a pale blue chiffon ,ress with three graduated layers of fiiffon forming the cape collar and aleeves. The hoop shirt extended in j ascading ruffles from an empire u'aistline and was caught up in a bustle ith a blue chiffon rose. i(js Her wide-brimmed, pale-blue picture "at was decorated with a chiffon ruffle ,.nd bow. . She carried a bouquet of silk red ((oses and white baby's breath. Maid ot nonor was Jayne Richens. bridesmaids were Kim Green and no 'alen Ashpaugh. Rina and Danny (lichens were ring-bearers and Julie jJreen was the flower girl. The attendants wore red and white hecked princess styled dresses with vhite ribbon sashes and carried red oses tied with red and white bows. The J ing bearer wore a blue and white hecked shirt and blue Levis. The bride's mother wore a baby-blue olored midi dress with print vest. The room's mother chose a light blue midi ' lress with gathered skirt I Bestman was Phillip (Catfish) "Magwell. Ushers were Brady Richens itnd Mark George. They wore blue and vhite checked western shirts with light )lue Levis. .. Decorations were in a western theme vith red and white checked tablecloths bn tables with lantern centerpieces. rOher western decorator touches were J idded with wagon sheels, saddles and western tack. " The menu included barbecued beef, lamb, turkey, beans, relish and French , Dread. Bill Petty barbecued the meat and the meal was served by Ratheda nnd Bill Petty, Helen and Orval Ash-'.) Ash-'.) a ugh, Carma Roberts and Lila JRedding. f Lana Raey was at the guest book. Beulah Gaster and Tami Wilcox were in charge of the guest room and Lila Audry and Heidi Hughs were gift bearers. The Wedding March was played by Helen Freestone and during the reception and barbecue the following musical numbers were rendered: Valen Ashpaugh, "You Needed Me," Earl Moore, "In the Misty Moonlight," Bernice Vantassle, "Have I Told You Lately, That I Love You." and Denice Angulo "Until It's Time For You To Go." The three tiered wedding cake was separated by pillars and decorated with ceramic horses within a white fence. On top was a miniature leather saddle made by Brady Richens. . Special out-of-town guests were from Oklahoma., American Fork, Salt Lake . City, Neola, Bountiful, Sandy and ,. Magna. ; : For their wedding trip to Flaming Gorge, the couple wore matching western coordinates.' They are now at home in Vernal. |
