Aviation safety seminar offered A series of Safety seminars for pilots will Ik- conducted from December through March in Vernal involving all pilots and persons interested in aviation from the I'intah basin area. Titled "Pilot Approach." the sessions are being sponsored by the Utah Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the Federal Aviation Administration, National Weather Service and the Utah Pilots Association. "The main goal of these seminars is to promote safety in General Aviation through better education and information." in-formation." said Phil Ashbaker, Director of the Utah Department of Transportation's Aeronautical Operations Division. The location and time of the meetings is Thursday. Dec. 20. Jan. 24, Feb. 28, and M;iuh a, the Vernal Junior High School, room 6 SS at 7:3Q p.m. All people interested in general aviation should plan to attend. There is no charge for the series and refreshments refresh-ments are served during the meetings.
