Show City Court Nevs . . . Appearing in City Court Sept. H was Anthony Michael Basiian. who entered a plea of guilty to the charge of reckless driving. He was sentenced to pav a SI50 fine and in default of payment of fine to serve 20 days in jail. Tom Badger appeared Sept. 20 on charges of criminal mischief and public intoxication. intoxica-tion. He entered pleas of guilty to the charges and was sentenced to serve 60 days in jail. He was also advised that if he made restitution of the damage a portion of his jail sentence would be suspended. Frankie Jean Bailey and Joe D. Jones appeared Sept. 20 on charges of theft and receiving stolen property. Attorney Harry Har-ry Snow represented them, and on advice of counsel they . requested a preliminary hearing. hear-ing. Judge Don Crist scheduled schedul-ed this for Oct. 14. and bail for each was set at $1,000. Lee Weaver and Susan MacLochlan also appeared Sept. 20 on charges of theft. Catey was scheduled to appear Sept. 20 on a charge of driving while intoxicated written by Officer C. A. Snodgrass. He had posted $200 bail Sept. 20. and when he failed to appear the bail was forfeited. Kee Billy Smith also had his bail of S200 forfeited when he failed to appear Sept. 21 for trial on a charge of driving while intoxicated, also written by Officer Snodgrass. He had posted bail Aug. 14. Wesley Eugene Nelson appeared ap-peared Sept. 27 on a charge of illegal possession of marijuana and public intoxication. He entered a plea of guilty to both charges and was sentenced to pay a $200 fine. He was placed on probation for one year and sentenced to serve 60 days in jail, with the jail sentence suspended on satisfactory completion of his prohaiion. Konald D. Boldue appeared Sept. 27 to answer to charges of driving while intoxicated and no drivers license. He entered pleas of guilty to both charges and was sentenced to pay a fine ol'S215. He was also placed o:i probation for six months. Max Woodward appeared Sept. 27 on a charge of distributing a controlled substance sub-stance for value. Attorney Luke Pappas appeared as his counsel, with County Attorney Bill Bengc appearing to represent the State of Utah. After the evidence was presented pre-sented Woodward was bound over to District Court and ordered to appear Oct. 12, and his $1,000 bond was continued. contin-ued. Jcanine Rutherford appeared appear-ed Sept. 27 on a charge of altering a prescription for a controlled substance. She appeared ap-peared with her attorney, Phil Hansen, Mr. Benge representing represent-ing the state. After the evidence was presented she was bound over to District Court to appear Oct. 12, and she was released on her own recognizance. Robert P. Henries was scheduled to appear Sept. 28 for preliminary hearing on a charge of theft. He failed to appear and a substantial property bond he had posted was forfeited. Perry Allen Potts appeared Sept. 28 on a charge of theft. County Attorney Benge made a motion that the charge against him be dismissed because of lack of evidence to prosecute. Henries was to be the man prosecution witness,-and witness,-and when he failed to appear the State could not proceed against Potts, and the charge was dismissed. ; Ann Spinks appeared for arraignment Sept. 28 on charges of maintaining a public nuisance. She requested reques-ted time to consult counsel and her arraignment was continued continu-ed to Sept. 30. She was released on her own recognizance. |
