Show Busloads of Shriners Coming Here This Week it Two large busloads of El I, , Kalah Temple Shriners will I leave Salt Lake City, Friday, J ' Oct. 1 at 2:00 p.m., heading i' f. southeast for the Illustrious i t Potentate's official visitation i , with Eastern Utah Shrine Club j 1 of Price, and Arches Shrine I , I Club of Moab. According to Illustrious Potentate Po-tentate Blaine M. Simons, the first stop is to be in Price, Utah at 2:00 p.m. Oct. 1,' as-Simons ' and his Official Divan greet Eastern Utah Shrine Club officers and their wives. Salt Lake Shriners and their wives will round out the assembled Shriners of about 150. The official visitation that evening will take place at the Elks Club in downtown Price. Potentate Simons and his lady, Marian, will then lead the group of more than 50 Shriners, Saturday, Oct. 2, leaving for Moab at 10:00 a.m. In Moab, Arches Shrine Club members will host the Potentate,- his Divan and fellow Shriners as Shrine fellowship will prevail throughout the entire day and night. A special tour of Arches National Park has been arranged by Arches Shrine Club for that afternoon. Dinner in the evening will be held in the Arches Building. Moab, and the surrounding area at picturesque Locomotive Locomo-tive Rock, was the setting for the 1975 initiation of almost 100 Nobles into the Order of the Mystic Shrine. The Potentate's Poten-tate's official visitation group returns to Salt Lake City Saturday evening. El Kalah Temple now numbers more than 2500 Shriners, whose philanthropy continues to be support of the Shriners' Crippled Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. |
