Show Mesa College players plan production The fast moving comedy "Uproar in the House" will be Mesa College Summer Players' Play-ers' third play of the season. It opens July 21 for a three-day run in Walter Walker Little Theatre with William S. Robinson Ro-binson directing. Featured in leading roles in this unpredictable London farce are Connie Rotunda and Peter Goldthwaite, both of Littleton. They portray a young couple thrown together to convince a visiting pair to purchase the ultra-modern home in which they live. The home has not had an owner in five years, and the desperate builder will go to any means to sell his house. Rotunda is in her second summer with the Mesa Summer Sum-mer Players. Last summer she played leading roles in productions of "Barefoot in the Park" and "Sabrina Fair" and last week she was Lucille Early, the lawyer's wife, in "No, No, Nanette." Goldthwaite portrayed "Curly" in last summer's production of "Oklahoma!" He had the role of Jimmy Smith, the generous Bible Salesman, in last week's "No, No, Nanette." Nan-ette." Both have appeared in numerous Mesa College drama dra-ma productions. Supporting roles have gone to Larry Branson and Maggie Sullivan, both of Grand Junction. Junc-tion. They have parts as prospective buyers of the home. Branson is a veteran of the Mesa stage and Sullivan is a drama director at Mesa. She directed "The Sunshine Boys," last week. Other characters will be Vincent Freeman playing Rotunda's Ro-tunda's fiancee who shows up unexpectedly and Carlene Craig, who is trapped in the home portraying a Swede with a French accent. Both are Grand Junction residents. Also acting in Mariott and Foote's play are Kim Kamas of Palisade, Jim Jarrett of Littleton, Randy Knapton of Trinidad, Randy Whinery of Arvada, and Mary Kashner and Stacy Merritt, both of Grand Junction.
