Show Services held in Price for Eugene C. Gibson Masonic funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Price for Kii-iie C. Gibson, 72, lon; time resident of Moab and assistant postmaster at the Moab Post Office until he retired in January 1, iy7.r. Mr. Gibson died Saturday, July 9 after t suffering' an apparent heart attack at his home in Helper Mr. and Mrs. Gibson had moved to the Carbon County city only a year aj.;o to assume management manage-ment of an apartment complex. com-plex. Horn Feb. 7, l'JOG in Ogden to IXC. and Ftta Churchill Gibson, Mr. Gibson worked with the U.S. Postal Service for a total of 43 years before his retirement. He was married to Lydio Firuno on Sept. 1, 1944. She survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Torn (I'ris-cella) (I'ris-cella) lirown, and two grand children, in California. Mr. Gibson was active for most of his life in Masonic organizations. He was a member mem-ber of LaSal I,oJfe No. 30, F&AM in Moab; an active member of Kl Kalah Shrine and the Arches Shrine Club of Moab, and numerous other Masonic organizations. Mr. Gibson was a member of Elks organizations in Moat-and Moat-and Price, and was one of the active community workers leading to the establishment of the golf course in both Moab and Price. Funeral services were held in the Price Masonic Temple, with interment in the Helper Cemetery. |
