He entered a plea of innocent, and trial was scheduled for July 14. Also July 8, Frederick John Bogeler, alias, Frederick Le-Roy Le-Roy Newberry, appeared on drunk driving charges. He entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to pay a $200 fine and in default of payment to serve 25 days in the county jail. On July 8 Gordon Keith Logan appeared for preliminary prelimi-nary hearing on a charge of aggravated assault. After the evidence was presented he was bound over to District Court to appear Sept. 13. The same day John Ernie Stash appeared on a charge of driving during revocation. He entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to pay a $160 fine and in default of payment to serve 35 days in jail. The jail sentence was suspended on payment of the fine. On July 11 Randy Bowen, Robert Buckingham, Brent Williams and George Roberts appeared on charges of criminal crimi-nal mischief. They requested time to consult counsel and arraignment was continued to July 18 at 10 a.m. The case of State vs. Kevin Nelson, Salt Lake City, was scheduled for July 13. Nelson was charged with reckless driving and when he failed to appear his bail in the sum of $70 was forfeited. |
