Show BLM plans meetings on W. District Manager, Tom Owen Ow-en said that liLM Itesource Specialists have inventoried the potential coal lease area to identify the multiple use management man-agement opportunities that exist. Owen indicated that the public will oe asked to comment com-ment on alternative resource management possibilities for these areas, which are generally gener-ally located in the iJookcliff area of Mesa County and near Itifle and Harvey Gaps and Hughes Reservoir in Garfield County. The meetings will be held at 7::W as follows: Tuesday, August 2, Two livers I'Iaza, 2nd & Main, Grand Junction, Co. Thursday, August 4, Hot! Denver, 4i 7th, Glenwood Springs, Co. Owen is encouraging all interested persons to atUjnd the meetings and get Involved in the guideline development process. |
