At Ernie's G Sc E Service, the same night, burglars used a pry' bar to gain entry, broke into the cigarette and pop machines, and took cigarettes and change. Also taken were 3 cases of oil, and 2 new tires. Total loss for the burglary was estimated at $180, with damage to the coin-op machines about $900. Before the burglary was discovered on Monday, when Ernie came to wot there was a second incident of entering the service station. During the day Sunday, 3 juveniles noticed the front door of the station open. They entered and stole some candy. They were apprehended and released to the custody of their parents. |
