Show Devils Stay Undefeated as They Down Two Col orado Schools Moab's Red Devils continued unbeaten alter weekend action ac-tion by adding two more Colorado Co-lorado schools to their list cf victims. Victories number four and five for Coach Ward Curtis and crew came at the ex- v. C HiT peil&C Ui IVActtiUUi CU1U LfUl- ango. Mancos gave Moab all they could handle in the second sec-ond Devil road game. Only a big final quarter gave Moab a 76-67 win. Von Isaman and Steve Wy-att Wy-att carried the scoring pace at Mancos with 22 points apiece". Eric Daniels had 15 and Lennie Walterschied 12 for the bulk of the Moab scoring. Even with that balanced bal-anced output, Moab had trouble trou-ble shaking loose. They led by a slender one point after the first quarter and entered the final period nursing a 50-48 lead. The fourth quarter was the decider. With Isaman getting ten points Moab tallied 26 points in the final eight minutes min-utes to clinch matters. Durango figured to be a tougher mouthful to chew but was not. The Devils chewed them up to the tune of 85 to 41 and it wasn't that close. The small, Saturday night crowd at Moab saw the Devils Dev-ils race to an amazing 34-3 lead before the Demons got untracked. Moab shot a fine 48 per cent from the field and 76 per cent from the foul w Loth were "bests" for th year. So too was the 85 point ouense and the 41 point V iunse. Uilt Sieve Wyatt led the scor nig ,by equalling his "lowest" point output this year, a mere 20 points. Steve Stout added 11 and Lenny Walter schied had 12. Isaman drag, gcd down 17 rebounds to lead mat department. Robert Royce led the Demons De-mons with 16 points, but it was too little, too late.
