Senator Johnson asked Immediate consideration for his resolutions in the senate, hut they went over, on objec- tlon of Senator Hitchcock. Senator Hitchcock of Nebraska, ranking rank-ing Democratic member, opposed the Siberian Inquiry before the committee, but did not object to the proposal affecting af-fecting Nicaragua, Haiti and the Do- minican republic. |
