Show CORPORATIONS MAY BE REINSTATED 'Reinstatement or corporations which through failure of officers or agents to comply with the law, so that a loss or suspension of charter followed. Is provided in a measure which was in-tioduced in-tioduced In the house this afternoon by Representative Quinney.'Hts bill, which Is numbered house bill No. 88. provides that "if the default of any corporation results from the mistake, Inadvertence or excusable neglect of I'.l officers or agents, the governor, upon good causa j being shown thereior. la authorized to reinstate the corporation in Its right to carry on business In the state at any time within two years of the entry of the default, provided ir.at the corporation corpora-tion pays to the socretary of state all taxes due, together with penalty, costa and expenses and interest at the rate of S per cent per annum." Another measure which Representative Representa-tive Quinney Introduced today la house bill No. 87, which amends section 055 of the compiled laws oJ917, relating to the distribution of moneys received from redemption. |
