Show S. L. Expands Search For Kidnap -Robbers ' " v Peace officers throughout the intermountain region and in California Tuesday were asked to aid in the search for two youths who kidnaped and robbed a motorist, held up a bakery store attendant and shot a police officer here. Sergeant Sherman Falkenrath, chief of the Salt Lake City police department detective bureau, said the suspects are thought to be the same two who robbed service stations Thursday and Friday in Provo and Fillmore. Descriptions of -the bandits, gained from the service station attendants, at-tendants, bakery attendant and Patrolman H. A. Peterson, who was scratched by a bullet from one of the, robbers, were forwarded Tuesday to state, county and city peace officers throughout the west. Also sent out were desrrpitions of several automobiles stolen since Sunday. The two youths Sunday night kidnaped and robbed Glen Million, 22, of 737 Kilby court, and used his automobile in the hold-up of Miss Louise Bockholt. 24. of 518 Wilson avenue, attendant at the New England Eng-land bakery, 878 Ninth East street. |
