Show Mad Dogs of Crime TWO young desperadoes are being sought by police authorities of this city and surround- Ing area today after a crime spree which apparently Involved all of the following serious offenses in half a week's time: Armed robbery of service station attendants In Provo and Fillmore. Theft of two automobiles, one at Provo, the ether at Sprlngville. ., Kidnaping of a motorist in Sugarhouse at the point of a gun, robbery of the victim and .theft of his car. Armed robbery of the girl attendant at a bakery In Salt Lake City. Resisting arrest including the shooting and attempted murder of a police officer. The two men have been pretty well Identified as a result of their many escapades and it Is to be hoped they will be apprehended before long. The full resources not only of the city police po-lice department but of the county sheriffs office and other police agencies in Utah should be utilized in tracking down and convicting these dangerous would-be Dilllngers. They must be caught and scant mercy should be shown them in the hunt and in their subsequent subse-quent trial and punishment They have proved themselves criminals of the worst kind robbers, gunmen, potential murderers. They are In their hearts guilty of murder. Only a trick of fate a thousand to one chance-prevented chance-prevented the serious wounding and probable death of Police Detective H. A. Peterson.
