Show BRITISH TROOPS SCOREVICTORY PARIS, Dec 12 (INS) In one of their first engagements on the western front, British troops hurled back three German patrols today, Inflicting heavy losses on the nazls while losing none themselves. Advices received In Paris said the British "Tommies" used only hand grenades In repulsing the German sorties. The action took place south of Buschdorf. . Otherwise the western front was fairly quiet as extremely cold weather kept activities at a minimum mini-mum and prevented aerial action. There were occasional bursts of rifle fire across the Rhine and the usual patrol expeditions along the French-manned portions of the front.
