Some of these parties are for the benefit of the less fortunate and others are. just for fun for th club bers themselves. The auxiliary to th Union Pacific Pa-cific Old Timers' club No. 12 Is going go-ing to help others and have a good tim. doing it at their annual charity char-ity party Wednesday at th Ambassador Am-bassador hotel, 145 Fifth East street They'll all bring contributions contribu-tions for "good cheer" baskets to be distributed to th needy at Christmas time. Browning Group Plans Meet Members of the local Browning society will meet Friday at 8 p. ra. In special session to commemorate com-memorate the fiftieth anniversary of the poet, Robert Browning. The meeting, of which Mrs. E. J. Kirk-ham Kirk-ham is chairman, will be held at the Lion house social center. Al East South Temple street, and members will bring guests. Included in the program will be a review of "Autobiography of William Lyon Phelps," by Mrs. Christen Jensen, and favorite Browning numbers by Mrs. Thomas A. Clawson Jr. and Mrs. J. Stuart McMaster.
