Show RAMS ARRIVING FOR S-L. SALE First entries in the international ram sale to be conducted Tuesday and Wednesday at the Union stockyards stock-yards in North Salt Lake had arrived ar-rived Friday from Ontario, Canada. They were Suffolk rams, owned by W. S. O'Neill, who accompanied them here for the auction. Weighing Weigh-ing around 300 pounds, they arc low-seti heavy-boned animals especially es-pecially noted for mutton, but possess remarkable fleeces. Also entered in the show Friday were Suffolk rams from Rllvea Thomas, Cedar City. Several of these are five months old and weigh 130 pounds each. J. H. Manderfleld. general manager man-ager of the yards, said pens and barns will be ready Saturday to take care of 1600 high grade rams which he expects will go on the auetion block. The ram auction, which will be the twenty-second annual sale sponsored spon-sored by the National Woolgrowers' association, will be conducted at 9:30 a. m . and at 1 p. m., on Tuesday Tues-day and Wednesday. |
