Show TROOPS RETURN TO FLDOUGLAS Home from three weeks "war" service, soldiers of the SSth Infantry Infan-try rolled Into Fort Douglas Friday Fri-day In a column of 110 trucks. Escorted by stats highway patrolman, pa-trolman, ths first trucks reached ths post at 10 a. m. Ths remainder of tha regiment, traveling In small groups of trucks to avoid Interfering with normal highway travel, arrived ar-rived during tha next few hours. Colonel Walter 8. Fulton, regimental regi-mental commander, accompanied his men. Tha regiment left July 37 for Fourth army maneuvers in California, Cali-fornia, in which the Utah national guard, which already has returned home, participated. Brigadier General Walter C. Sweeney, post commandant, who commanded the regular army forces in tha war games, said Friday the 36th Infantry will do only normal garrison duty until the men have a few days' rest |
