Show if .- Popular Miss Weds Saturday An interesting marriage of late summer will be solemnised Saturday Satur-day at I p m at the Cathedral of the Madeleine when Miss Cathryn Harrington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Harrington, becomes the bride of First Lleutensnt David Da-vid Emory Jones, Fort Sill. Okla. The Rt. Rev. Monsignor Duane G. Hunt, bishop-elect of the Catholic diocese of Salt Lake, will perform the ceremony. The bride has chosen her slater. Miss Juns Harrington, as maid of honor; her eister-in-law, Mrs. Joseph Jo-seph Ijc IIsi i lngtun, nisliun of honor; hon-or; Mrs. Daniel W. Moffat, attending attend-ing matron; Miss Josephine Dowd, Miss Janet Harrington of Helena, Mont., and Miss Elesnor Bailey, bridesmaids. Mary Beth Wilson will be flower girl and Lieutenant Floyd Hansen of Ogden will be best man. A prettily arranged luncheon was given Friday by Miss Frances Frobes in honor of Miss Harrington. Harring-ton. The affair was given at the University club and the table was attractively decorated with a pink and white centerpiece. Guests included Miss Harrington, Mrs. James W. Harrington, Mrs. Joseph L. Harrington, Mrs. David W. Moffat. Miss June Harrington. Miss Janet Harrington of Helena. Mont; Mrs. Melvin Stauffer of Pittsburg. Cal.; Miss Josephine Dowd, Mrs. Floyd Hansen .of Ogden, Og-den, Miss Mary Alice Meagher, Miss Madeleine Flood, Miss Catherine Cath-erine Bonner and Miss Mary Jane Dowd. Thursday evening Miss Harrington Harring-ton and Lieutenant Jones were honored hon-ored at a dinner party at the Star-lite Star-lite Gardens atop the Hotel Utah, at which Miss Josephine Dowd wss hostess. The long table was centered cen-tered with an arrangement of white bridal flowers and 20 guests were in attendance. |
