Show HEADON CRASH INJURES DOZEN 2 Automobiles Meet on Saltair Road Twelve persons were injured when two automobiles crashed head-on two miles west of ths salt works on the Saltair highway about 1 a. m. Friday, throwing two occupants occu-pants out of one car. Three persons wens Injured In another accident about 2 a. m., when one auto rammed a standing car at Ninth South and State streets, resulting In arrest of one motorist on a reckless driving charge. Six persons were riding In each car in the Saltair highway crash, all receiving treatment at the police emergency hospital. Drivers were lilted aa David Weidner, 19, of 1993 Seventh East street, and D. W. Barnard, 30, St. John. According to the report by deputy sheriffs, the eastbound Weidner car, after passing another eastbound machine, collided with ths west-bound west-bound Barnard automobile. Hurts Listed Those in the Weidner car and their injuries were, besides the driver, driv-er, who suffered cuts and scratches on the face: Arthur Butler, 20, of 140 Fourteenth Four-teenth East street, possible skull fracture, nose fracture and eye injury, in-jury, in "fair" condition in the L. D. S. hospital; Bonnie Karren, 17, of 820 East Thirteenth South street, riding with the driver, possibls jaw fracture and sprsin of ths right hand; Pauline Gillespie, 16, of 826 East Thirteenth South street, face bruises and elbow injury; George Jerome, 19, of Seventh East and Twenty-first South street scalp cut, and Marie Young, 18, of 4222 Halla-day Halla-day boulevard, head cuts. In Barnard Car i In ths Barnard car, besides the driver, who suffered knee bruises, were Ralph Evans, 22. of 6020 South Sixth West street, forehead and elbow el-bow bruises; Mrs. D. W.
