Show COUNTING Of RETURNS IS COMPLETED; PULL VOTE Of CITY CANDIDATES The City Council last night, sitting as a board of canvassers of the election returns, finished the work by figuring up the returns of the Third and Fifth precincts. The changes for the entire canvass were slight and made no, ma- terial change in the status of the candidates. candi-dates. One of the most noticeable things was that Lynch ran behind Tils ticket by nearly a thousand and ' Morris ran ahead of his ticket by about the same number, Ogden, Hlles was the strong man on the American ticket, beating out the head of the ticket, Thompson, the next strongest man. by 34 votes. ' M. F. Cunningham was the next strongest man on the Democratic side, but was 783 votes behind Morris. Buck-waiter Buck-waiter was the high man for the Republicans, Re-publicans, but he was more than 500 votes , behind the lowest Democratic candidate, Joseph E. Calne. The highest vote cast by the Socialists Social-ists was 57S. The total vote cast for Mayor was 21,676.
