Show NOT HOSTILE TO THE PRESIDENT United States Senator flint Expresses Himself Him-self on Rate Question, LOS ANGELES. Cal.. Nov. 17. The Times today prints an interview with I'nited States Senator Frank P. Flint, in which the Senator replies to the statement of a Washington newspaper correspondent that both he (Senator Flint! and Senator Perkins arc counted among the opponents in the Senate to the President's plan of railroad rate legislation. The Senator is quoted as saving: "Such a st:. ii nieiit is entirely unwarranted unwar-ranted and i'o.'S an injustice both t Senator Perkins ami myself. Speaking for myself, all my correspondence with the President will show that there is no hostility betwe-n us. but that our relations rela-tions with each other are entirely har-monio har-monio is. I am not opposing any scheme' of the President.
