Kendalll of Lehi. calling attention to the vast deposits de-posits of kaolin that are to be found in the State and stating that a movement is now on foot by a number of Eastern manufacturers and capitalists to utilize this koalin. The material is considered the finest in the country and as good as any in the world. It was awarded first prize at th St. Lou's fair and at the Portland fair. The. capitalists are planning to erv-t a factory and pottery, either in Lehi or in Salt I.Vj and turn out Insulators, putty. paMiiii fireproof paints. Several Sev-eral hundred men are to be employed in the factories that ate proposed by these capitalists. The meeting of the committees of the new Manufacturers and Merchants' association as-sociation was called originally for 8 o'clock, but for half an hour before that time last night manufacturers, capitalists capital-ists and business men congregated in the halls of the Commercial club and discussed with interest the features to be embodied in the reports of the ari-ous ari-ous committees. The first business completed was the classification of the membership of the new association, according to the interest inter-est and business of the various classes of membership.
