The House-smiths' House-smiths' union was officially declared out of the general arbitration board or the Building Trades Employers association asso-ciation yesterday for refusing to obey the order to declare on the strike against Post & McOord pending arbitration. arbi-tration. U was stated that before Post & McCorJ proceed to fill the places or the strikers they will wait until the board of governors acts. It may either affirm the decision of the arbitration board, which would mean the open shop, or lock out the union. Secretary Fnrrell of the union said yesterday: '"If a lockout is declared or non-union men put to work, a national strike will be ordered against the Iron league to take effect in all cities w here its members have contracts." |
