Show (Paragraphs Of) (Interest . . j Mrs. Agnes Eismann has returned re-turned from a five-weeks' business and pleasure trip to Baraboo, Wis., where she visited her two brothers, broth-ers, Verne P. Wing and Clarence E. Wing and families and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Arthur Finley has just returned re-turned from an enjoyable three weeks' visit with her son Calvin and wife and new baby at Wilmington, Wilm-ington, Calif. Mrs. Finley also visited vis-ited .with Mrs. Annie Roylance and daughter, Mrs. Georgia Foster Fos-ter at Long Beach, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Fenn of San Bernadino, Calif., have moved to , Springville and will make their home in Brookside. They were accompanied ac-companied iby Mrs. Fenn's mother, Mrs. Lena Millett, who is making a visit here. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Larsen and baby, Paula Gene, of Maywoo'd, Calif., visited recently with Mrs. Almira Lowe and other relatives i and friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Art Case attended the recent national convention of the American Legion at San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Calif. They were in company com-pany with Mr. and Mrs. Lavar Groneman of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thorn, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Thorn's mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Henrietta Harmer of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Mae Miller, Mil-ler, have returned from an enjoyable enjoy-able visit with Wells Johnson at Colorado Springs, Colo., and they also spent some time in Denver. Mrs. Eliza Hardman of Seattle, Wash., visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. Russell Blackett and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Palfreyman here. She came to Utah to attend general gen-eral conference. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Lowe and Mr. and Mrs. Lin Lowe and baby Robert have returned to their home in Jerome, Ida., after a visit with Mrs. Almira Lowe and Mrs. Blake Carter and family in this city. Mrs. Amasa Rowland was in Salt Lake City Wednesday, due to the illness of her daughter, Mrs. Dan Bagley who is confined to the L. D. S. hospital. . Bernell Noakes, who has been in the Navy for the past seven years, visited his brother, Sterling Sterl-ing Noakes and family and other relatives and friends here the past week, enroute to New York to visit vis-it his wife. He was on terminal leave. Robert F. Bird of Mapleton has been given his discharge from the service and will be home soon from his station in Montana. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Ashburn of Los Angeles, Cal., ormer residents of this city, visited with friends here on Tuesday enroute to Salt Lake City to spend a few days! Bill Blanchard of Los Angeles, Calif., has been visiting his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. John Blanchard and expects to remain for the deer season. |
