Show SAFETY MEETING OUTLINED BY JAYCEES TONIGHT The Fire Prevention and Safety committee of the Junior Chamber of Commerce will be in charge of the meeting this evening, beginning begin-ning at 8 p.'m, at Memorial hall, announces President A. H. Morten-sen. Morten-sen. Charles. Ellis, safety director of the Geneva Steel plant, is to be the principal guest speaker, and Reed Rigtrup, city fire chief, will also speak briefly on subjects relative rel-ative to fire prevention. R. L. Althouse, vice-president of the club, will be in charge of the meeting. Bill Ostlund, chairman of the Art City Dancing club, sponsored by the Jaycees, announces that arrangements ar-rangements have been made for the Gentlemen of Swing orchestra from Orem to furnish music for. the season's dances, to begin November No-vember 16. Anyone desiring to obtain season seas-on tickets for the dances are asked to contaot Junior Chamber members. mem-bers. The music is the best available, avail-able, according to the chairman, and a large crowd is expected to each dance. Adding interest to the season's entertainment will be the exchange of dances with Spanish Fork and Mapleton during the dance months. |
