Show Recently Married ... - ' Reception At Mapleton Compliments Couple Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Swasey of Mapleton announce the marriage of their daughter Dorothy to John Ray Parry, son of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Complimenting the newlyweds, a reception was given in the Mapleton Ma-pleton chapel last Thursday evening, eve-ning, with approximately 250 relatives rela-tives and friends attending. The bride chose for her wedding attire a white satin and lace combination com-bination with finger-tip veil arranged ar-ranged to her head with a crown of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet bou-quet of red rosebuds. Attending the bride were Mrs. Christie Atwood as matron of honor. hon-or. Miss Esther Houtz was maid of honor and the Misses Norma Thorpe, Mary Perry and Bernice Pate were bridesmaids. They wore pastel-colored formals with corsages cor-sages in corresponding colors. The reception featured a nicely arranged program with Welby Warren acting as master of ceremonies. cere-monies. Refreshments were served at small tables centered with burning candles. The newlyweds are making ther home in Mapleton. Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Holley, who were married recently and in whose honor a reception was given in American Fork. The bride is the former Miss Lois Shafter of American Fork. Mr. Holley's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Holley of Mapleton. |
