Show o Personal News Notes Mrs. Pauline C. Pace and two children have gone to San Diego, Calif., to be with their husband and father, Lt. Joseph L. Pace, whose orders to go overseas have been cancelled for the present. Lt. M. G. Anderson recently oame from New Orleans, La., on leave because of an injury to his eye. His wife, the former Florence Flor-ence Mendenhall, and two sons, have been making their home here for the past few months. Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Robertson Robert-son plan to leave this week for Albuquerque, N. M., to make their home- for the next few months. Mrs. Gladys Harrison and her daughter Joan of Logan, visited here one day the past week at the home of her mother, Mrs. Sarah Sar-ah Loynd. She came especially to attend the funeral of her mother-in-law in Provo, last Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Miss Maurine Manwaring has returned to her home here from a recent three-weeks' visit in Salt Lake City, with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Will Hill, and family. 1 Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Ostler have returned to Springville from Rains, Utah, where Mr. Ostler has operated a coal business for a number of years. m 9 9 Lawrence Beach left Saturday on a two-weeks' trip to Pendelton, Oregon, and other points on the west coast. He is making the trip by plane. Richard Bird of Mapleton, accompanied ac-companied by his daughter, Mrs. Phyllis B. Johnson and daughter Linda, are spending , a few days with relatives and friends in California. Cali-fornia. Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Wightman returned recently from California where they spent most of the winter months. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gunn and children of Salt Lake City visited over the week-end with Mrs. Gunn's partents, Mr. and Mrs. George Weight. Mr. and Mrs. Ray S. Alleman and children are visiting in the city at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Alleman, and they also plan to attend general conference in Salt Lake City. Their home is in San Diego, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Alleman spent the week-end in Salt Lake City with .their children and families. fami-lies. . Mrs. Sarah Dalton entertained at dinner Sunday at her home for Mrs Miles Burns, a daughter, of Salt Lake City, and also a daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Thorn and family. Mr. and Mrs. George E. Adams have returned to Springville from Los Angeles, Calif., where they have spent the past few months with their children and families. |
