Show THROUGH BUS SERVICE TO BEGIN APRIL 1. A new through bus service connecting con-necting Salt Lake City and Albuquerque, Albu-querque, operating over the fast, direc route, was inaugurated April Ap-ril first. Named "The Apache Flyer," it will run toy way of Moab, Utah, Cortez, Colo., and Farmington, N. Mex., operated jointly toy Rio Grande Trailways, Cannon Ball Trailways, the Moab Transportation Transporta-tion company and the San Juan Basin Lines. It will eliminate the necessity for passengers to change buses several times and wait on connections,- as in the past.. Service by "The Navajo Flyer" on an alernate route from Albuquerque Albu-querque over the Million Dollar ighway, through ' the "Switzerland "Switzer-land of America," was recently inaugurated toy the Rio Grande Trailways and the San Juan Basin Bas-in Lines. The new schedules are part of the post-war program of affording afford-ing Residents of this area toetter local tous service and of making j the territory more attractive to tourists, R. A. Nash, general manager of the Rio Grande Trail-ways, Trail-ways, said. The schedules are arranged to provide direct connections at Salt Lake City for points on the Pacific Pa-cific Coast, and at Albuquerque for destinations in the Southwest. |
